Getting back to Philly has been quite the trip. But I'm pumped to crack down and get things rolling. Just met with Arianna on Thursday, and looking forward to getting some rehearsals in soon. I need to choose a mentor by next week, so here's who I'm thinking about....

- Liat Segal (or her friend who has done work with processing/music visualizations)
- Clayton Rothwell (has worked with immersive 3d audio)
All are fantastic opportunities and people as resources already. I'm hoping to hear back from Tim because I'd love to have him help out with a rehearsal or two.

I've some more notes on what I've been thinking about for the structure of the event/performance as well:
- 2 rehearsals a month from now until the event
- Event with Arianna will be on April 2nd and 4th
- Event with class will be on April 7th

- Interactive Sculpture with projections upon it-
- video is affected by user touch. Also sound.
- The videos being projected are home videos belonging to me/arianna
- A film burn/overlay will turn touched parts to white
- about 10 songs (I've written) prepared for live dj'ing
- some of these songs I will play with friends.
- some of these songs I will just press play on my computer.
- some of these songs I will just play an instrument (probably drums) along with.
- videos to be played intermittently after certain songs
- a projection spot with videos looping and headphones for people to come up and listen to/watch privately.
